Denominations

the Baptist Union and The United Reformed Church

The family of independent Baptist Churches we belong to in Britain is known as Baptists Together.

You can find out more about us, what we do and believe and what it means to be a Baptist today at our Baptist Together website.

Just click the logo above.

Chorlton Central Church belongs to two different denominations in the UK, the Baptist Church and The United Reformed Church – to form what is formally known as a Local Ecumenical Partnership.

All this means is that two local churches have joined together to form one, united church.

We think that’s brilliant!

We also belong to The United Reformed Church, part of the world-wide family of Reformed Churches.

You can find out all about us and access loads of great resources for local churches at our United Reformed Church website.
