Commercial Use is any regular event (weekly, monthly etc.) or activity from which the hirer derives a profit or income, or which is arranged by or for a business or company, regardless of whether there is a specific charge for admission or membership.  Community Associations and Community Interest Companies will normally be classed as 'not-for-profit'
However donating part of the proceeds of an event to a Charity does not make it 'not-for-profit' event.
Not-for-profit use includes any regular event or activity of a charitable nature incuding community events and activities and similar events and activities from which the hirer / organiser does not intend or expect to derive a profit or income.
'One-off' events and functions (including children's parties) are charged at a separate rate which covers both commercial and charitable events.
Charges
are calculated on the basis of a fixed charge for the first two hours, plus an hourly charge for each additional hour or part of an hour. Please ensure you include time to set up before your event / activity starts, and time to clear up after it ends. For example, if you are planning a meeting which will last for two hours, you need to book for that time plus (say) half an hour to set up and half an hour to clear up, a total of three hours.
All bookings include use of
toilets. Bookings for the Hall or Worship Space include use of the kitchen; there are separate drink-making facilities in the Meeting Room. If use of the Meeting Room requires use of the Kitchen this may be possible; if so there will be no additional charge for this.

Additional charges which will be made for events which over-run, which use rooms not booked, or which result in additional cleaning.

Please remember that if you need exclusive use of the premises you must book and pay for all the rooms.
